There was little doubt from the off who was going to win this month, although we do have the odd bet on it in our office, and we were not disappointed – The Enemy’s Son won with a clear run of 91%. This is the first time a debut novel has won our Readers’ Choice competition – and we have to say we couldn’t be more pleased for James Johnson – a terrific read and thoroughly entertaining.
